If you go on a hot, weekend afternoon, you'll probably find a good size line - the mark of any good ice cream joint.

But on many other days, you can walk in and grab an ice cream without much of a wait - and probably hear from other customers about how amazing the ice cream is.

The Killer Chocolate - it lives up to its name - is a shop favorite, as is cappuccino kahlua and several others. The Creamery, which specializes in 32 flavors of Jane's Handmade Ice Cream from Kingston, even has Mercer (Ulster County) wine ice cream - served only to those over 21. Currently the parlor has four wine flavors and four cocktail flavors.

They make their own waffle cones, as well as sorbets and yogurts, and also offer cookies, brownies, and local syrup and honey.

In winter owner Ron Iarossi transforms the shop into a Kringle's Christmas store, with ornaments, candles and decorations.
