Cortlandt Announces Concert, Movie Series Schedule

VERPLANCK, N.Y. -- The Town of Cortlandt has released the schedule for its free concert and movie series at its waterfront park in Verplanck.

Concerts will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, while the movies start at 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

The concerts, and their dates, are:

  • May 26: McLean Avenue Band (Irish-Celtic).
  • June 30: Flashback (oldies with Jimmy Russo, Butch Barbella, Mike Annunziato).
  • July 7: F.D.R. Drive Band (New York party band).
  • July 28: Soul Fusion (Motown, R&B, Soul).
  • Aug. 25: Island Soul (today’s hits with a Caribbean flavor).

The movies, and their dates, are:

  • July 7: “The Goonies” (after the F.D.R. Drive concert).
  • Aug. 11: “Kung Fu Panda 3.”
  • Aug. 25: “Jurassic World” (after the Island Soul concert).

The events take place at the Cortlandt Waterfront Park on Riverview Avenue in Verplanck.
