Evan Liaskos, Executive Chef of The Cortlandt Colonial and Bagels on Hudson, and his wife Debbie, visited a donut shop in Maryland and were inspired.
They brought the idea back home with them and decided to expand on the “creative donut” concept.
They now offer customized donut flavor creations in a section of their shop, and named it “Hot Dippity Donuts."
Envision a French Toast donut with maple glaze and cinnamon sugar, or a Key Lime Pie donut, made with Key Lime glaze and graham cracker crust.
All donuts are made fresh on-site. There are 20 glazes and assorted toppings. Customers can mix and match or choose from a list of combined glazes and toppings.
Flavors include caramel chip, strawberry pie, salted caramel, choco-lot and many more.
Bagels on Hudson and Hot Dippity Donuts are at 171 S. Riverside Ave.
