Walter Panas H.S. Students Provide Thanksgiving Meals To Homeless

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Twenty-eight students from Cortlandt's Walter Panas High School's Inter-Ethnic/United Nations Club met one of their club advisors, Mrs. Janet O'Toole, at the United Methodist Church in Peekskill to set up the dining room to feed about 180-plus homeless and needy people on Thanksgiving.

The students fed the group on Wednesday, Nov. 25.

This was Panas' 12th year participating in this event, which is in its 30th year. It is sponsored by the PAPA organization (Peekskill Area Pastors Association) along with The Salvation Army. 

O'Toole and Jessica McHugh are the club advisors.
