Hendrick Hudson High School’s advanced singing group took the stage at Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on Sept. 24, along with classical/rock violinist Daisy Jopling.
Billed as “The Awakening Show,” the performance featured an 80-piece orchestra comprised of student and professional musicians.
All 28 Treble Makers, under the direction of music teacher Erica Denler, performed in the show, and four students were featured as soloists: seniors Emily Fareed, Katy Kenny and Kristen Bartolomeo and freshman Katie Ciulla.
“The concert was a huge success,” said Denler. “Our students sang for more than 1,000 people and shared the stage with Broadway singers and professional musicians.”
