Red Ribbons Symbolize Drug Free Pledges In Lakeland Schools
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Students and staff in the Lakeland School District's secondary schools took part from Oct. 26-30 in the annual Red Ribbon Day activities.
Students made pledges then tied ribbons on classroom doors and trees to be alcohol and drug free.

The Red Ribbon Week efforts were were spearheaded by the SADD clubs and substance abuse counselors at the secondary schools in Lakeland Central School District.
