“Each grade was assigned a specific food item, such as pasta, canned goods, cereal, etc.,” says district social worker Renee Tanner. “The students’ response was overwhelming, and we quickly filled more than 25 boxes of food. Thank you to all the families and staff, including the district office, for donating to this wonderful program.”

Anne V. Kennedy, the Croton Caring Committee executive director, collected the boxes of food on Nov. 20 and planned to return to the school this week to collect expected additional donations.
