Croton-Harmon H.S. Ranked 40th In New York State

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Croton-Harmon High School was ranked among the best high schools in the state in a list just released by U.S. News and World Reports Magazine.

The school was ranked 40th in the New York and 260th in the United States

U.S. News rated each school based on how well it prepares students for college, average math and reading standardized test scores and student/teacher ratio.

Rye High School was the only school in Westchester County to make the top 10. Among the top 20 were Yonkers Middle High School at 15, Blind Brook High School in Rye Brook at 16 and Edgemont Junior-Senior High School coming in at 18.
