Mahopac's DePass Scores 3 TDs, Brewster's Smith Stars For Harvey School

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- Michael DePass of Mahopac, a senior at Harvey School in Katonah, scored three touchdowns in a variety of ways to help the Cavaliers earn a 24-24 tie against Dwight-Englewood School of New Jersey on Saturday.

DePass, a senior captain, caught a touchdown pass, returned a punt and scored the game-tying points on an interception return.

DePass hauled in a 50-yard pass from Tom Smith of Brewster for Harvey's first touchdown. After another Harvey score gave the Cavaliers a 12-0 lead, DePass returned a punt for a 63-yard touchdown and a 18-0 Harvey lead.

The Bulldogs scored 24 unanswered points before DePass scored the game-tying touchdown on a 12-yard interception return. DePass has four touchdowns in two games for Harvey, 1-0-1. The Cavaliers host Dalton on Saturday at 1 p.m.
