The event will take place in LaPenta Student Union parking lot.

Just like last year, Iona students will have the opportunity to come together as a community and participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which was co-created by Iona alum Pat Quinn. Quinn will make an appearance to give a few inspiring words in addition to informing participants about some of the challenges and goals that he has faced while battling ALS.

After this, all who choose to participate will take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge together. The event is Bring Your Own Bucket, so students and all participants are asked to bring something to hold the water that will be dumped on them.

Donations will be collected for Quinn for the Win, Quinn's foundation that raises awareness of ALS and support many fundraising and philanthropic events pertaining to ALS.
