State Rep. Terrie Wood To Speak At Darien Historical Society Meeting

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Historical Society will host its annual meeting and lecture with special guest speaker, state Rep. Terrie Wood.

The historical society is set for its annual meeting at 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Society's Scofield Barn at 45 Old Kings Highway N. in Darien, according to a release. 

Wood, a longtime member of the society and a Republican, will speak on the "history of the two buildings that have served as our Connecticut State Capitol," according to the release.

Darien Historical Society members are scheduled to elect new board members and to vote on new bylaws. 

An electronic version of the bylaws will be posted on the Historical Society’s website.
