State Police in Cortlandt recently conducted an "Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail" that involved an undercover 19-year-old attempting to purchase alcohol from area businesses, according to a report from state police. Cortlandt Manor's AJ's Bar and Grill, Croton's Tanampa Resataurant, Montrose Deli and Richy's Pub and Grub in Putnam Valley all sold alcohol to the minor without the minor being asked to show identification, state police said.

Fulgum's Restaurant and Bar in Montrose was the only business that did not sell to the minor, according to the release.

"The employees that sold and the applicable Corporation were given Appearance Tickets for violating section 65-1 (Prohibited Sale of Alcohol) of the NYS Alcohol Beverage Control Law," according to New York State Police.
