Man Charged With DWI After Failing To Stay In Lane In Cortlandt, Police Say

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A Delaware man faces misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over in Cortlandt, state police said.

Fizal M. Rahman, 31, of Wilmington, was stopped by troopers on Sunday, Jan. 10 after, police said, he failed to stay in his lane.

Troopers determined that Rahman was intoxicated after, they said, they conducted a field sobriety test and his blood alcohol content was shown to be .18 percent, more than two times the legal limit.

He was ticketed and ordered to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on Friday, Jan. 22, police said.
