The event is set for Aug. 1 from 12 to 9 p.m., at Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill, billed as a 'mini world's fair' which will feature plenty of events including Civil War reenactments, a children's stage and activities, holistic wellness area and a farmers market.

“We’re looking for volunteers for all areas, mainly for the kid’s zone and the artisan and crafts market. We are looking for a minimum of two hours of time. This is going to be a fun-filled day and I know all of our volunteers are going to have a great time enjoying and participating in the Exposition,” says Deb Milone, Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce executive director.

For their time, volunteers get free access to the park and a t-shirt. High school and college students could qualify for school credit as well.

There will also be many local musicians performing: The Daisy Jopling Band, The Joni Blondell Band, Tony Leon, Mark McIntyre Band, Noodle Noodle, Ray Blue and Vintage Vinyl.

A laser light show will be the event finale

Volunteer applications are being accepted until July 25. Those interested in volunteering can email patrickb@eventsremeber.com or call (914)-218-3968.
