DaIvid A, I could not agree with you more and want to echo your last thought about people's willingness to do what is necessary to register to vote under the current system that should allw the ROV's sufficient time to verify the registration information and add the voter to the list of vetted/ registered voters, then what in heavens name will protect the value of a vote? There is no way to remove an 'annonomus' vote once cast. These same people, who show up to travel, puchase decongestants, cigerettes, alcohol, cash a check... They somehow prepare themselves - why is voting any different? Especially in light of the videos many saw that showed mayhem and fraud at the polls in Bridgeport in the 2010 elections. Such videos will now be more difficult to make, because all but one legislator in Hartford voted to disallow candidates to install unofficial checkers at the polls... They were the ones who got the videos and make claims of voter fraud that I have yet to hear or see the invistigatio results of. View Comment
