They made the choice to take drugs. They made the choice to drive without a license.
I made the choice to never do that - even when every single friend of mine was. Does that make me better than them? No. But it makes me employable. I can't feel sorry for adults who CHOSE to partake in these activities. View Comment
From what I understand, it presents a problem for children who do not have access to computers at home. When I was a student (not TOO long ago...) this was a problem, and even use of the library and computer lab wasn't sufficient, since many students were unable to stay after school. View Comment
Of course climate change is real. It's not a new thing. Francis is saying that it's been around long before we have. The earth cools, the earth heats up, and cycles back. Al Gore did not invent this concept. Interesting side note: it started as "global warming," and now it's "climate change."
Anyone who has taken elementary science classes knows that climate change has existed as long as the earth has - probably even longer. Like Francis said, it is not solely because of the USA's carbon emissions. View Comment
Just this morning, I had to swerve over the yellow line because someone cut me off going southbound. Had there been a car there, I wouldn't have swerved, but there would have been an accident either way. In addition to these safety measures, people need to stop driving like maniacs. View Comment
I have to disagree. Anyone paying close attention to Town politics knows that Mr. Becker merely used his appointment as councilman as a stepping stone for a bigger run, and did not care about the community at all. Self-serving, like most politicians. View Comment
I'm not surprised at all that these three particular members voted against this. They are the same members that welcomed Mr. Becker with open arms and, by backing him wholeheartedly, forced out the only republican on the board, who served for over 10 years. View Comment
