Tree Falls On Car On Route 9A, Closing Lane, Causing Delays

A tree fell on a car around 4 p.m. Friday, causing one lane closure and slowdowns on Route 9A in Corton-on-Hudson, police said.

According to police, the tree has been removed, but electrical wires are still hanging in the roadway. Commuters should expect delays until Con Edison has repaired the lines, police said.

No one was injured in the incident.
