Serious Crash Moves To Shoulder On I-684

A serious motor-vehicle crash involving a car and truck that initially resulted in the closure of two lanes on a stretch of southbound I-684 Wednesday has moved to the shoulder of the road.

The closure, reported at 11:45 a.m., occurred at Route 172 in Bedford (Exit 4) with stop-and-go delays to the Saw Mill River Parkway (Exit 5).

At least one serious injury was reported.
