Route 9A Reopens After Serious Crash

For the second time in as many days, a stretch of Route 9A was closed because of a crash.

The latest closure, on the southbound side, occurred late Wednesday morning between Route 9 and Route 134 in Ossining after a car crashed off the road.

Traffic was diverted onto Route 9 until the roadway reopened just before noon.

A crash on Route 9A in Mount Pleasant involving a salt dump truck crash blocked the roadway in both directions during the Tuesday commute.
