Yorktown Kid Wins Elks Age Group Free Throw Competition

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Three Yorktown kids made the state finals in the Elks National Hoop Shoot in Syracuse, N.Y.

The Elks National Hoop Shoot contest is a free throw contest for kids ages 8 to 13. The event is free to all participants. Kristen Cinquina, Emily Girolamo Yorktown and Regan Fallo participated in the contest. The National Finals are held in Springfield, Mass. 

Kristen Cinquina won the state title in her age group. Kristen will be moving on to the the Regional Hoop Shoot semi-finals on March 22, 2014, to shoot against the state champions from New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
