Women's Roller Derby Teams Ready To Clash At Yonkers Rink

YONKERS, N.Y. – The home teams of Westchester County’s first and only women’s flat track roller derby league Suburbia Roller Derby will go head-to-head in Yonkers on Saturday to kick off the home season.

First whistle to see 2012’s defending champions, the Indian Point Sirens, take on the Country Clubbers sounds at 7 p.m. 

Doors at the E.J. Murray Memorial Skating Center open at 6 p.m.  At the door tickets are on sale for $15 general admission, $18 VIP silver tickets and $25 VIP gold tickets.  Pre-ordered tickets are available online for $12 general admission, $15 silver tickets and $25 VIP gold tickets.  Kids under 8 years old can attend for free.

The event will help raise funds for Gilda’s Club Westchester, which supports men, woman and children with cancer.
