For the second straight year, the team won the New York State Class A title, defeating Williamsville East in straight sets, 25-14, 25-19 and 25-16 at the tournament in Glens Falls last week.
Upon returning home, the team received an escort from the Westchester County Police, and the Lake Mohegan Fire Department and Ambulance Corps and were greeted by fans in the school parking lot.
Walter Panas is the first school to win back to back titles since 2008.
