PELHAM, N.Y. — The Pelham Summer Volleyball High School League opens its seventh season Monday at Pelham Middle School.
Nine teams — Pelham 1 and Pelham 2, Walter Panas 1 and Walter Panas 2, Eastchester, Harrison, New Rochelle, Ursuline and Valhalla — will take the court. Each match is best-of-three.
“It is a nice, somewhat informal league,” said league founder and director Mark Finegan, who is also the Pelham varsity volleyball coach. “It is officiated by my former players and is very instructional in nature.”
