Hen Hud Grad Marriott Named Conference Soccer Player Of Week

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Peekskill's Angela Marriott, a sophomore at Morrisville State College in New York and a Hendrick Hudson High School graduate, was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference's women's soccer defensive player of the week.

Marriott posted two shutouts and tallied five saves to lead Morrisville State to a pair of back-to-back conference wins over the weekend. She made three to secure a 2-0 victory over Penn College Saturday, and had two more in a win over College of St. Elizabeth on Sunday.

Her efforts have boosted the Mustangs to a 4-2 record at the start of the season, and bringing her career totals to nine shutouts and 12 wins. She started 14 games as a freshman.

Marriott is majoring in criminal justice at Morrisville State.

She is the daughter of Debby and Darrell Marriott of Peekskill.
