Rice, a star running back for the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, and Edney, a two-sport athlete who just graduated from New Rochelle High School, are ironically vying for the same award after having accomplished individual great plays this past winter.

Edney's 60-foot shot with time expiring to win the Section 1 boys basketball title went viral with millions seeing the thrilling game-winner over No. 1 ranked Mount Vernon.

Rice caught a short pass from quarterback Joe Flacco and danced through the San Diego Chargers defense for a crucial 30-yard gain on fourth down to help win.

Voters can log on at the ESPN Espy's website to vote through July 17.
