But the new head coach is a familiar name to the program.

Mahopac went 4-5 last fall under coach Tom Donahoe, who stepped down after 11 years at the position.

Veteran defensive coordinator Mark Langella has now taken command of the program. Langella had been with the Mahopac program for 14 years under coaches Gerry Keevins and Donahoe before steppings away for the last two years.

The Indians will look for leadership from team captains Joseph Palmiotto (12, C/NG) and Charlie Burt (12, NG/OT), and are set to open the 2016 campaign September 3 at RCK at 1:30 p.m.
