Lakeland High Softball Team Keeps Rolling Along, Tops Ossining

SHRUB OAK, N.Y. -- The Lakeland High softball team has jumped out to a strong start and the Hornets continued their outstanding play Wednesday with a 16-1 win over Ossining in beautiful weather at Lakeland High School.

Eighth-grader Claire Fon picked up the win for the Hornets (10-3). Ossining fell to 1-12.

Amber Badillo had a big day for the Hornets, belting a grand-slam and a solo homer, good for five RBI. Cameron Lischinsky and Jenna Houlahan each had three RBI.
