183 Pace Student-Athletes Named To Northeast-10 Conference Honor Roll List

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – A total of 183 Pace University student-athletes were highlighted on the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll that was recently released.

The 183 student-athletes represent 56 percent of its student-athlete population. Pace Athletics saw an overall increase of 23 additional student-athletes from last year.

The Setters had seven student-athletes, from seven different sports, earn a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the fall 2014 semester.

Freshman Daniel Citardi from the men's cross country team and junior Macey Danker from the volleyball team rounded out the 4.0 averages from the fall sports. Also represented on the list was a pair of basketball standouts as senior Margo Hackett from the women's squad and freshman Victor Jusino of the men's basketball team each achieved the perfect mark.

From the spring sports, senior Brett Bittiger from the baseball team and senior Natalie Gellos from softball each achieved the 4.0 mark. The final athlete to net a perfect GPA was Lesly Sanchez Alvarez in the inaugural season of the newly formed Women's Lacrosse program. Pace saw an increase in numbers across the board from the fall 2013 semester. The Setters total of 85 student-athletes to crack the 3.50-3.99 grade-point average is up 12 from last year. Additionally, 91 student-athletes landed in the 3.00-3.49 range, an increase of nine from the fall of 2013. The total number of student-athletes represented on the Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll increased from 160 to 183. To be eligible for selection to the Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded a minimum 3.0 semester grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the Fall 2014 semester.
