WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains-based Westchester County Association and its Young Professionals Group will once again make a $2,750 scholarship available to "a deserving individual [who] participates in Leadership Westchester 2014," according to a release.
Produced by The Volunteer Center of United Way, Leadership Westchester "provides the leading-edge thinking and techniques that are used at the nation’s top business schools for managing others and achieving successful outcomes," the release stated.
Over the course a nine-month program, Leadership Westchester's curriculum is designed "to sharpen your leadership skills and give you an in depth understanding of how non-profits work," according to the Leadership Westchester website.
