Two Trustees Will Not Seek Re-Election To Peekskill School Board

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Two trustees will not seek re-election to the Peekskill City School District Board of Education this May.

Three seats are available for the Peekskill Board of Education, each one for a three-year term. Incumbent trustee Michael Simpkins will seek another term.

Nomination for the Board of Education is made by petition, which must be signed by at least 100 qualified voters in the school district.

Petition blanks may be obtained at the Board of Education office at 1031 Elm S. Any Peekskill resident interested in running must file a nomination petition with the district clerk by 5 p.m. May 1.
