The annual weeklong Souper Bowl coincided with Super Bowl 50 and encouraged students to use their enthusiasm for the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers to make a difference in the local community.

“Our goal was 600 cans to represent our 600 students,” said CET Assistant Principal Kerri Bianchi. “We exceeded our goal and collected approximately 620 cans.”

Students were rewarded for their generosity with a special spirit day on Monday, Feb. 8, when they came to school wearing a jersey representing their favorite athletic team.
