The students chose which characters they wanted to play and several students volunteered to be narrators for the shows.
“It was hard,” said narrator Olivia Piasecki. “I forgot some of the words during rehearsal, but not during the show.”
D’Amato said the first-time show was a big success and encouraged students to practice their reading and pronunciation of Spanish words, especially those related to the unit on animals.
“I thought they did a beautiful job,” said D’Amato. “They were so excited to perform for their peers and teachers.”
