Peekskill School District Warns Of Sports Schedule Scam

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill School District said Wednesday a telephone scam has been targeting local residents and businesses.

The school district is warning about a phone scam attempting to solicit donations.

The scam is an attempt to solicit donations for the "Peekskill High School Fall Sports Schedule Poster," the district said.

The district said the individuals involved are not associated with the school and no such cause exists. The district asked that anyone contacted about this does not give out any personal information.
