Congratulations to William B. Ward Elementary School in New Rochelle for winning the first, of what we hope to be many $500 checks in Main Street Connect's Better Schools Bonanza, sponsored by Entergy.
Ward was the first school to get 500 votes, quickly earning at least a $500 check donated toward their Parent Teacher Association.
The promotion is far from over, though. Ward, and every other school in Westchester, is still in the running for the $10,000 grand prize, given to the Westchester elementary school with the most votes by midnight of October 28.
