Hendrick Hudson’s Transportation Supervisor Liz Gilleo reminds area motorists that buses are picking up and dropping off children, and cars must stop for buses with flashing red lights, whether the car is behind the bus or in the approaching lane.
She noted that motorists should also be mindful of students walking to and from school.

However, Gilleo noted, area residents without school-aged children may not realize that school is in session so early.
