Hendrick Hudson Athletes Honored As Con Ed Scholar-Athletes

MONTROSE, N.Y.- Hendrick Hudson High School’s Morgan Loh and Aidan Datene were honored this past Wednesday at the Con Edison Scholar Athlete Sports Award Banquet in West Harrison.

Each of them were recipients of the prestigious Con Ed Scholar Athlete Award during the fall 2014 athletic season.

Loh was an all-section volleyball player on the Hen Hud varsity volleyball team and will be attending SUNY Binghamton in the fall. There, she hopes to continue playing club volleyball.

Emory University-bound Datene was an all-section midfielder for coach Chris Cassidy's Sailors soccer team and committed to continue playing soccer at Emory next season.

Held at the Renaissance Hotel in West Harrison, the reception honored 36 student-athletes from Westchester County for their outstanding performance in the classroom and on the field. Sponsored by Con Edison, the night was moderated by Hall of Fame baseball and basketball announcer Bob Wolff.
