Hen Hud Students Earn Awards For Business, Computer

MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Ten Hendrick Hudson High School students were honored for outstanding achievement, determination and leadership in Computer and Business education.

The College of Westchester honored the students on Saturday, March 7.

Senior recipients are Aidan Datene, Jordan Hudock and Amy Jacobson. Junior recipients are Josh Alter, Catherine Barra, Jessica Goldman and Jared Hershman. Sophomore recipients are Tiffany Cornely, Vinh-Thuy Nguyen, and Carole Sinacore.

The students were nominated by Computer and Business Education teacher Maura Koch, Math and Business teacher Meg Jandrasits and Math teacher Marcia Bailey.

A number of students from throughout the tri-state region were recognized for excellence in their Business and Computer courses at the college’s annual ceremony held at the Marriott in Tarrytown. Marissa Brett, president of the Westchester County Association, addressed the recipients in her keynote address and commended the students for their success.

Recipients and their families celebrated at a reception following the awards ceremony.
