During this time, the team took time to work with kindergarten through second-grade students on their basketball skills.

“Being able to bridge a gap between our varsity players and some of the young members of our district was something that we are extremely excited about as a program," Hen Hud varsity head coach Jordan Hirsch said. "It is critical that the players in our program are active members of our community, and are seen as positive role models to younger students in our schools. This was a great opportunity to put those thoughts into action.”

Senior basketball player Dylan Gambardella enjoyed this time with the younger generation of basketball players.

“It was fantastic to work with some of the future Sailors," Gambardella said. "Their excitement and energy provided a wonderful event for the community.”
