The school graduated 62 members of the class of 2015.
Headmaster Barry Fenstermacher delivered opening remarks, and the commencement address was given by Fr. Mark Connell, the Founder and President of San Miguel Academy in Newburgh, Jake Berkson was the school's Valedictorian.
Philip Lazzaro, Head of Upper School, and Elisabeth Visintainer, Assistant Head of Upper School, handed out awards.
Valedictorian Jake Berkson of Scarsdale told his classmates that the real world awaits them.
“You have to figure out how you’re going to stand out from a much bigger crowd, and make your unique impact on the world,” he said. “As we go off into college and figure out who we genuinely are, we’ve learned how important it is to surround ourselves with sincere friends,” he said.
Following the benediction offered by Reverend Richard Pike, the assistant minister of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Bedford, Student Council President Brendan Kneitz handed his successor, junior Aila Prieto, the Spirit Cup, signifying the changing of school leadership to the Class of 2016.
