Furnace Woods Promotes Literacy With Read Across FWD Day

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Furnace Woods School celebrated its Read Across FWD Day on Monday, which included activities to promote literacy and reading.

“We had a lot of great activities, including pajama day, guest readers from around the Hendrick Hudson school district, a school read-aloud of 'Oh, the Places You’ll Go!' and lots more,” said Principal Dr. Cynthia Kramer.
