S4 provides practical advice on how students can adjust more easily to the leap from elementary school to middle school and high school with the added responsibility and expectations as well as great opportunities and experiences.

The two complimentary e-books: "Successfully Transitioning to Middle School" and "Successfully Transitioning to High School" help parents and students learn about key skills that will help students succeed in a new school.

The e-books deal with Self-Advocacy, Active Learning, Planning, Time Management, Confidence and Responsibility. The strategies are adapted from S4's popular study-skills workshops, which will run in July and August in Connecticut and Westchester County. S4's workshops offer a more in-depth approach to studying, note-taking, time management, project management, and self-advocacy.

The free E-books are available for download by going to the S4 Study Skills E-books link. More information about the workshops can be found at the Study Skills website.
