MONTROSE, N.Y. – The father of a young man who died from an accidental drug overdose will be screening his documentary “Whispering Spirits” at a community event at Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose on Thursday, May 14.

Jeffrey Veatch’s son, Justin, died in 2008.

“Whispering Spirits” discusses Justin Veatch’s life, death, and musical talents.

The Cortlandt Community Coalition, Cortlandt town officials, and the Hendrick Hudson School District are sponsoring the forum.

The event is free and open to the public.

The forum will be 7-8:30 p.m. at Hendrick Hudson High School, 2166 Albany Post Road, Montrose.
