“Each class made a dish and shared it with other classes,” said Principal Kelly Maloney.
Before the feast, students made their own place mats to use during the meal, and some helped serve their classmates before sitting down themselves to enjoy donated turkey – courtesy of Bagels on Hudson, Croton Mini Deli, Croton Colonial Diner, La Monica’s and Giovanni’s – and plenty of traditional Thanksgiving dishes.
Other donations included loaf pans from Baked by Susan and measuring containers from Frankie’s Grill that Gina Glynn’s class used to make pumpkin bread for all to enjoy.
