CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Second-grade students at Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School in Croton-on-Hudson assumed the identities of historical or currently relevant figures during the school’s annual Biography Museum.
Dressed as historic or currently relevant figures, the students shared facts about their chosen personas’ lives and described how they have contributed to history.
“I am always so blown away when I see the students’ final projects,” said second-grade teacher Rebekah Rupp. “The kids work so incredibly hard on them and it shows at the museum.”
