CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Students from the Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School in Croton-on-Hudson shared their enthusiasm for robotics recently at the United Nations International School Robotics Expo in New York City.
Students from the Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School students in Croton-on-Hudson shared their passion for robotics at the United Nations International School Robotics Expo on May 2.
Photo Credit: Croton-Harmon SchoolsTeacher Lauren Scollins said students showcased their dancing robots and tackled challenges that included: follow-the-line, table and sumo-bot. In the sumo-bot event, the participant’s robot had to stay within a ring and push the opponent’s robot out.
“It was a really wonderful day,” Scollins said.
