Croton-Harmon Students Write To Veterans

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The fourth-graders at Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School recently wrote letters to veterans to commemorate Veterans Day.

The students brainstormed words such as “bravery” and “peace” to include in their letters to Croton-on-Hudson veterans, according to a press release from the Croton-Harmon school district.

Village veterans attending Bethel Cemetery’s Veterans Day tribute on Tuesday, Nov. 11, received the students’ letters.
