Lodi Celebrates National Night Out

LODI, N.J. -- Lodi will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2, in the Borough Hall parking lot at 5:30 p.m.

The event will also include a community blood service donation bus, demonstrations, prescription drop-box, interactive activities, meet- and-greets, home security info and more.

Lodi residents are invited to a fun-filled night with family, friends and neighbors. There will be giveaways, interactive activities, music and food.

National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to build strong community partnerships that promote safe neighborhoods.

The event will also include a community blood service donation bus, demonstrations, prescription drop-box, meet- and-greets, home security info, gun locks, tips on fire prevention, "Touch the Truck” ambulances, fire trucks, police humvees and more.

A guest speaker from Lodi Municipal Drug Alliance will also be at the event.

For Movie in the Park, Disney's 2016 film “Zootopia” will be screened at 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on.

The Borough Hall parking lot is at 1 Memorial Drive, Lodi.
