Cortlandt Development Draws Mixed Reviews At Meeting

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A proposed 170,000-square-foot retail space that would serve as a mini-town center in Cortlandt is drawing mixed reviews, according to the Northern Westchester Examiner.

Supporters of the proposed Cortlandt Crossing point to the influx of tax dollars that will be provided to the town and to the Lakeland school district. Opponents contend the area does not need another mall and that it could compound traffic problems, the Northern Westchester Examiner said.
