Croton Village Manager To Hold Community Meetings

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — Croton Village Manager Abraham Zambrano will hold three community meetings this fall to address "quality of life issues that may be of concern to residents."

Several department heads will also be at the meetings to discuss "the needs of the community and to achieve a greater efficiency," said an email sent by Zambrano on Tuesday afternoon.

"There may be things that the staff as a whole can change without a policy change from the board," deputy village manager Janine King said. Zambrano was not available for comment. This is not the first time that the village manager has held community meetings, King said.

The first meeting is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Harmon Firehouse, 30 Wayne St., Croton. The second meeting will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Grand Street Firehouse, 154 Grand St. The third will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Washington Engine Firehouse, 81 N. Riverside Ave., Croton.
