Two Cortlandt Men Charged With Drug Possession

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – James Sheehy, a 45-year-old Cortlandt resident, and Andrew Windschauer, 60, also of Cortlandt, were arrested after police observed them in possession of a controlled substance on Thursday, according to Yorktown police.

Police said they were conducting surveillance along with members of the Westchester County Drug Enforcement Task Force when they observed the men in possession of the substance.

Sheehy and Windschauer were arrested and taken to Yorktown police headquarters for processing. Both were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. Sheehy was released on $100 bail and Windschauer was released on his own recognizance to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, April 14, at 6 p.m.
